Officine Panerai is the Swiss watch corporation with Italian trademark that has been creating wristwatches since 1860 till today. After its foundation, this corporation was making wristwatches only for Royal Italian Navy for more than fifty years. Than came the collection for civil people. After, the Richemont International SA took over Panerai corporation in 1997, the waterproof Panerai watches began with a range of new models that were traded all over the world. Panerai wristwatches collections bore the heritage of the Panerai first watches Radiomir and Luminor and were released in historical, contemporary and special edition series.
The first, historical series consisted of Luminor general, Luminor Marina and Radiomir. New Luminor wristwatch was mechanized by its own hand-wound mechanical movement that can be looked at through a transparent caseback. The wristwatch is made of steel and titanium stuff and is waterproof to 300 meters. Other famous wristwatch is the Panerai Luminor QUARTZ Chronograph PN-17.
